MAKING THE MOST OF PROFITS
A common issue for Surgeons or Practice Owners, is the build-up of cash reserves in their business, which may not be eligible for Entrepreneurs Relief when sold. Equally, if the cash is not required it may also be undesirable to withdraw from the business, incurring significant income tax charges.
The creation of these cash reserves may also be a result of reducing pension contributions to avoid breaching the pension lifetime allowance.
